Hi! I’m Jess, the creator behind Pet Project by Jess. I believe dogs deserve better photos so I’m here to change that.
This is my little family.
I’m originally from Buffalo, NY. Go Bills!
My pup Ellie was adopted through the HCWS Pups on Parole program & Mazzy from Scratch My Belly Rescue.
I’m a bit of a travel addict. I want to see all the places and do all the things.
A few of my all time favorite shows are The Office, Breaking Bad & Stranger Things and I speak mostly in movie quotes. Apologies in advance.
I’m a true crime junkie and always open to suggestions for a good documentary and podcast.
I strongly believe wine & cheese count as a meal.
When I’m not photographing dogs, you can find me at a concert, planning a trip , or trying a new restaurant.

Futures in Focus
Giving back to the community is important to me. I regularly volunteer my time for our local shelters and rescues each month to update the profile photos of the animals there to give them a better shot at being seen and adopted.
